Steuart සෙනෙහස; a CSR initiative by George Steuart Health was launched on 2nd April 2021, at the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital.
Hon. State Minister of Pharmaceutical Production, Supply and Regulation - Prof. Channa Jayasumana graced the occasion along with the Director of the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital, Provincial Health Director, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon-Anuradhapura, Officials from the GMOA, Consultants, Medical Staff, Chief Radiographer, Chief Nursing Officer and several other members of the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital.
The company donated a 3D Extremity CT Scanner to the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital. The scanner is the first of its kind in Sri Lanka and will facilitate 3D weight bearing CT scanning of extremities.
A donation of hearing aids was made at the event, to two young children with severe hearing sensitivity.
The Steuart සෙනෙහස scholarship fund was also launched at the ceremony. 5 deserving students selected annually, will be provided with financial assistance on a monthly basis until the age of 18, under this programme.
